Athletic competition allows the Christian young person the opportunity, and for many their first, to put into practice in a highly structured environment, the Godly virtues taught at home and in the classroom. Early on in the history of Faith Baptist School, the administration deemed athletics profitable for the complete instruction of the individual student being raised as a leader for Christ. Not only are the various aspects of a sport learned, manipulated, and executed at a high level, but Christian testimony and characteristics are imparted through the physical and mental discipline required in the sport of choice. These athletic competitions also allow for Christ-honoring interaction between our students and their peers in other Christian and private schools.
